Local artists from Cedar Rapids displayed their art during art fest 2025 which took place on the front lawn of Newbo City Market on Sunday August 31st from 9AM to 4PM. Art Fest was started by the New Bohemia group in 2010. Anne Stamats has been on the art festival committee since 2013, and has ran the festival for the last two years. The Art Festival Committee is a 501C3 Non Profit, and uses donations from sponsors to fund Art Fest every year. The primary sponsor of Art Fest is Main Street District.

HK Ingram Fine Art and Photography Owner Hassan Ingram paints a picture of a barn in a field during Art Fest 2025. Ingram, who is from Cedar Rapids, began painting in 2008.
Taylor Friese tells some potential customers about how she makes her pottery. Friese, who has been doing art all her life, uses a combination of ceramics glass and basket weaving to create her pottery.
