Bloomsbury Farm's Easter Celebration
Bloomsbury Farm hosted it’s fifth annual Bunny Bash on Saturday March 28th and Sunday March 29th and Friday April 3rd to Sunday April 5th. This event kicked off the 2026 season at Bloomsbury Farm which also hosts the Iowa Tulip Festival, Fields of Flight Kite Festival, Iowa Flower Festival, Iowa Fall Festival (which includes Scream Acres), and the Baby Animal Festival which they will be bringing back for the first time in several years. The Baby Animal Festival will feature Chicks (baby chickens), baby bunnies, baby ducklings, a calf (baby cow), kids (baby goats), lambs (baby sheep), a foal (baby donkey), and possibly more.

Rowan Heller from Lisbon plays Barnyard Basketball with his dad Brock Heller during Bloomsbury Farm’s Bunny Bash on Saturday April 4th. Bloomsbury Farm hosted a drive through Easter Bunny Experience during the pandemic in 2020.
Megan Tillman from Dubuque buries JJ Nelson in corn while her daughter Wren Tillman watches. The Tillman’s visited the farm for the first time on Saturday April 4th.
The Easter Bunny rides the Barrel Train during Bloomsbury Farm’s Bunny Bash. Bloomsbury Farm hosted the Bunny Bash on Saturday March 28th and Sunday March 29th and Friday April 3rd to Sunday April 5th, and are hoping to open their Tulip Festival on Friday April 17th.
Riley Becker from Cedar Rapids sits with her son Westley Becker (four weeks old) behind the Blame it All On My Boots sign in order to get out of the cold while attending Bloomsbury Farm’s Bunny Bash on Saturday April 4th. The Becker’s enjoy attending Bloomsbury Farm at least once per year.
Steven Blake from Des Moines pushes his niece Josephine Brosofski on the Bee Line Mini Zip at Bloomsbury Farm on Saturday April 4th. Bloomsbury Farm is owned by Dave Peterson, has been in business as an attraction farm for 31 years, and has over 60,000 visitors every year.
Seven year old Callen Olson from Rochester Minnesota plays Mini Golf while stopping at Bloomsbury Farm’s Bunny Bash on his way to Florida with his family on Saturday April 4th. The Olson’s also visited the first Bunny Bash back in 2021.
Dan Pfeiffer and his son Grant Pfeiffer (three years old) from Cedar Rapids play one of the games available at Bloomsbury Farm on Saturday April 4th. The Pfeiffers have visited the farm about once a year for about ten years.
Payton (mom), Dalton (dad), and one year old Huxson Moeller from Amana pet one of the Goats while visiting Bloomsbury Farm for the first time on Saturday April 4th. Bloomsbury Farm will also be hosting their Kite Festival on Saturday May 9th and Sunday May 10th.
