Downtown Cedar Rapids Hosts one of the largest Open Air Markets in The Midwest
Downtown Cedar Rapids hosted its second bi-weekly farmers market of this year on Saturday June sixth from 7:30AM - 12:00PM. The market features over 200 vendors, and has an average attendance of over 12,000 people every other week. This is the 21st summer in which the market (which features, entertainment, food, and arts and crafts vendors) has taken place in Cedar Rapids. The next market will take place on this coming Saturday June 20th.
Ryan Hoagland from Marion plays the drums as a member of the Junk Funk Band for a crowd at the Cedar Rapids farmers market. Hoagland has been playing the drums for the last thirty five years, and has worked as a music educator in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area since 1999.
Isaac’s Pizza owner Isaac Tominsky makes a pizza for a customer while participating in the Cedar rapids farmers market as a vendor on Saturday June sixth. Tominsky worked for several pizza places before starting his own pizza catering business.

Faith and Findings is based in Washington Iowa, and owned by Crystal Wade who has been in business for the last 15 years.

The Cedar Rapids Public Library has two locations one being located at 450 5th Ave Cedar Rapids Iowa, and the other one being located at 3750 Williams Boulevard Cedar Rapids Iowa.

Coe College graduate Alejandra Ramirez originally from Idaho looks at some of the jewelry for sale by Community Owned. Community Owned is based in Iowa City, and is owned by Rachel Tower who has been in business for the last 15 years.
Willey Bandz owner Julie Willey puts away some of the head bands that she had for sale at the end of the Cedar Rapids Farmers Market on Saturday June sixth. Willey’s business is based in the Quad Cities, and has been open since 2014.
Almost Famous Popcorn employee Dan Chapman puts some of the popcorn that they had for sale away at the end of the market in downtown Cedar Rapids on June sixth. Chapman has worked for Almost Famous for the last year and a half.
