Coe College Football vs Loras
The final home game of the season.
The Coe College Kohawks took on the Loras College Duhawks at Clark Field in Cedar Rapids at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday. The Kohawks totaled 673 yards with a 63-7 win. After Saturdays win, Coe has set a record of seven wins and two losses. A win next week at Central would place the Kohawks in the NCAA Division 3 playoffs for the 3rd straight year.

The Kohawks Defensive Back (Jr, No. 4) CJ Johnson stops the Duhawks ball carrier. The Kohawks held the Duhawks to 228 total offensive yards and one touchdown during the game at Clark Field on Saturday.

Kohawks Quarter Back Brady Kelly (Jr, No. 7) looks for a receiver during the game on Saturday. Kelly completed 13 of his 18 pass attempts for 318 yards 4 touchdowns, and unfortunately landed two interceptions. Kelly broke Coe College’s single season record for touchdown passes on Saturday with 28 on the season. The record was previously held by Gavin Glenn who posted 27 touchdown passes in 2016.
Wide Receivers coach Trevor McConnell speaks with some of the players before the second half of the game. Since McConnell became the receivers coach at Coe College, six different players have had 19 receiving touchdowns in a season.
