The Kohawk Men's home opener
The Coe College Kohawk’s men’s basketball team took on the Cornell College Rams during their home opener at Kohawk Arena on Sunday November 23rd at 2PM. Coe’s first home game of the season was an 82-62 win, making them 5-0 to start the season. The Kohawks will be taking on the Milwaukee School of Engineers Raiders on Saturday the 29th in Milwaukee Wisconsin at 2PM next.
The Kohawks number five, senior, Cooper Nailor from Indianola dribbles past the Ram’s defense during the game on Sunday. Nailor Scored 6 points and grabbed 7 rebounds while recording 8 assists during the game.
Coe College JR Deuce Walters from San Tan Valley Arizona takes the ball down the court. Walters Scored 12 points, recorded two rebounds, and tallied one assist on Sunday.
The Coe College Men’s Head Coach John Payan speaks to his team during a time out. Payan took over as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach after helping Coe reach the NCAA Division three basketball tournament as an assistant in both 2023 and 2024.
