The second annual CR (Cedar Rapids) for Jesus event was held from 12:00PM - 9:00PM on the front lawn of NewBo City Market in downtown Cedar Rapids on Saturday August 15th. The event featured musical performances from the First Open Bible Church worship team, and Sunny Singh & The Elim Arrival. The event also featured several vendors, and ended with a Jesus March at 6:00PM. CR For Jesus in hosted by Under His Grace member Nick Hawkins. Under His Grace began hosting events like this three years ago in Peru Illinois. They also hosts events in Green Bay Wisconsin, and Hannibal Missouri.

First Open Bible Church is located at 1911 East Avenue NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405. They also have service at 8:30AM & 10:30AM on Sunday, and 6:30PM on Wednesday.
Youth For Christ Heartland Site Director Justin Lancour tells an interested person about the things that Youth For Christ does for youth in Eastern Iowa. Youth For Christ shares the gosphel with 11 - 19 year olds, and is an international organization that operates in over 100 countries around the world.
Imogen Schauer plays with bubbles at the nearby first annual third Street Block Party which also took place outside of NewBo City Market on Saturday August 15th from 8AM-9PM. The bubbles were provided by the nonprofit Newborn Co. Education.
