The City of Marion's Spooky Trunk or Treat
The first annual Marion Monster Mash took place at the Central Plaza at City Square Park on Saturday October 25th from 11AM-3PM. The event was hosted by Uptown Marion, East Post Pumpkin, Kidstrong, Farmers State Bank, and the City of Marion. The event featured Trunk or Treating, Face Painting, Spooky Story Time, and a festive costume parade.
Kidstrong coaches Reina Gilbertson (left) and Kaden Coats blast bubbles while dressed in Ninja Turtles costumes. Kidstrong opens on November 3rd, and will feature science based training programs for kids walking age to 11 years old.

School of Rock employee Lilian Beimer hands out candy during the Trunk or Treat. Beimer plays guitar and has been working for the School of Rock for the last year.

Wall of Sound Productions student Morgan Stumpf plays the keyboard for the crowd while helping the staff hand out candy. Wall of Sound Productions is also a recording studio, and is located on 7th Ave in Marion.
