St. Joseph Fun Days 2026
St. Joseph's Annual Community Celebration
The 9th annual St. Joseph Fun Days took place at St. Joseph Catholic Church Friday May 29th to Sunday May 31st. The event (which is set up by the churches Fun Days comittee) featured a country store, silent auction, Bingo, carnival rides, a fun run, a hog roast meal, interactive catholic trivia, a catholic Name That Tune game, a silent auction, a guided tour of their church, Matthew Kane & The Band GREENBRIER, and the band Lonesome Road. The original St Joseph church opened in 1905 with the current location opening in 1977.
St. Joseph Catholic Church’s new entry way was created as part of their recent renovations in order to give attendees a place to hang out before and after service. Renovations to the church began in August 2024, and were completed in September 2025.
Roy Lange from Cedar Rapids takes a look at some of the items available at the country store located in the St Joseph Catholic School band room on Saturday May 30th. Lange has been a regular attendee of the St Joseph Fun Days for many years.
Jack Oehler from Cedar Rapids announces the Bingo game during St Joseph Fun Days on Saturday May 30th. Oehler has attended St Joseph Catholic Church his entire life, and is currently a Mechanical Engineering major at UNI.
