CSPS hosted it’s 8th weekly Sunday Social on Sunday August 3rd. Sunday Social is a weekly concert series featuring DJ Derek Caldwell. It also typically features another local musician, although Caldwell was the sole performer this week. Sunday Social also features various artistic activities, and games. CSPS stands for Czech and Slovak Prudential Society. CSPS also hosts a mid-week film night, and several concerts every week. Sunday Social takes place every Sunday in the courtyard outside of CSPS Hall from 4PM-8PM every week from June 15th to September 28th.
DJ Derek Caldwell places a record on his record player while playing music during CSPS’s Sunday Social on Sunday August 3rd. Caldwell worked as a radio DJ for about 20 years, and has been doing gig work as a DJ for the last 15 years.

CSPS volunteer Tyson Dohse attempts to solve a Rubix Cube while attending the Sunday Social hosted by CSPS. Dohse moved to Cedar Rapids in 1997, and has volunteered at CSPS for the last eight years.
