The Cedar Rapids Kernels took on the Quad Cities River Bandits at Veterans memorial stadium on Sunday May 31st at 1:00PM. The Cedar Rapids Kernels (originally named the Cedar Rapids Rockets) were founded in 1949, and are the High-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins Major League Baseball team.
