Up in Smoke's Open Jam Night
Up in Smoke's Once Monthly Community Jam Night.
Up in Smoke BBQ hosted their once monthly open jam session on Saturday January 17th. The night began at 5PM with a buffet, and a performance by Robby Love (guitar, vocals) and his friend Mark Oppedahl (bass guitar). At 7PM the stage was opened for various members of the community to play their instruments with each other during an open jam session. Up In Smoke BBQ opened in 2022 as a vendor at Houby Days, and is located at 92 16th Ave SW in Cedar Rapids. The business also provides catering services for weddings and events.

Brandon Miller works the cash register for Up In Smoke BBQ during the open jam session on Saturday night. Miller has worked for Up In Smoke BBQ for the last three years, and started working there one month after the restaurant opened.
