The west End Diner in Marion hosted it’s final outdoor market of the year on Saturday September 26th from 8:30AM-2:00PM. West End Diner is owned by Annette and Jack Perry who started their business in 2019, and bought the Pavilion next door (where the market is held) in 2020. The Perry’s started the market (which acts as a business incubator) as a way to give back to their community. The Perry’s host five different artisans in their buildings outside of their diner from April-December as well as an outdoor market at their pavilion that features ten different artisans from June-September. Five different Artisans have gotten their start at the West end Market before moving their business to downtown Marion.
Haley Schmuecker looks at some of the clothing for sale by Heartland Supply Company owner Chloe Mccurdy. Mccurdy has three other locations including Uptown Marion, Palo, and one that is soon to open in the Czech Village in Cedar Rapids.
Chris mangrich from tiffin looks at some of the items for sale at the House of Whimsy building at the West End Market. The House of Whimsy is owned by Rachel Mccurdy, based in Marion, and has been open since July.

West End Diner (which is located at 809 6th Ave in Marion) is Open from 8:00AM-2:00PM Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-2:00PM on Saturday, and 8:30AM-1:30PM on Sunday.
